What’s Inside and Outside your Writer’s Toolbag?  (45-minute session)

• Discover the tools that writers use beyond the computer, pen and paper. Where do ideas come from? From places and faces and stranger things!

 
Picture Book Party (1-hour session)

• Students share their favorite picture books with group.  We identify key elements that make their picture books work.  After examining character, voice, plot, language, we will create a collective picture book manuscript.
